Special Events

Each month we have a very special happening. These events open learning possibilities in their preparation, are exciting for the children to experience and make wonderful memories.  These include 'Surprise Walk'; 'Day School Sunday'; 'Fire Department Visit'; Halloween Trick or Treating'; 'Teddy Bear Week' & 'Pajama Chapel'; 'Valentines Celebration'; 'St Jude's Trike-a-thon'; 'Kite Day'; 'McCarthy Wildlife Visit'; 'Funny Hat Day'; 'Watermelon Day'.

SEASONAL PRESENTATIONS
There are three main presentations that take place during the school year.  These are: November - 'Pilgrims Meet the Indians'; December - 'Come to Bethlehem'; May - 'Spring Frolic'.

Church School
Church school resumes for all ages on Sunday September 19 following the 9:30 am service.  Click here to register on line, or collect a registration form from the Welcome Cart in the courtyard.  One form per child please.  Please register early.

Meeting for parents of children in church school: Sunday August 22 at 9:00 am.  Meet with Fr Stokes in the Parish Hall to discuss the Christian Education of children from pre-school through Grade 5.

Parenting Discussion Group
A parenting discussion group will be offered for 6 weeks, beginning Wednesday August 25 at 7:00 pm.  We will be using John Rosemond's book The New Six Point Plan For Raising Happy Healthy Children.  The book is available in the Canterbury Bookstore.
