The Four Keys

With the Youth and Family Institute in Bloomington, Minnesota we hold that there are four key ways to nurture the faith life of the home.  These "Four Keys" are ways to participate in the means of grace that extend God's love and saving work to the world on a daily basis.  These keys not only strengthen the faith life of individuals and communities within households, they also serve as the means to strengthen congregational vitality through healthy, nurturing and faithful homes.

The Four Keys are:

• Caring Conversations
• Devotions
• Service and Outreach to Others
• Rituals and Traditions

I would love to know about the devotions, service and traditions that you have in your homes.  Would you please email Susan Stokes or just drop a note to me at the church.  I would like to print some of these in the E-vangel so others might see what you are doing and think 'Hey, that is really good.  I think that we will try that!'
