Ministries & Outreach
Put Your Faith To Work This Summer
The church is called to be in relationship with the world. This relationship includes reaching out to
the poor, the hungry, and the oppressed. Below are just three of the many ways that you can
be a part of the church's mission and outreach:
- Feed the hungry: Please think about those in need the next time that you are in the grocery store.
'Buy one/get one free' offers are the perfect time to pick-up non-perishable items that are desperately needed to
feed the hungry in our own community. We have placed baskets at both entrances into the Church.
Please bring non-perishable items and place them into these baskets each week. We will convey your donated
goods to the Caring Kitchen and the Community Pantry.
Suggested items: Oatmeal, cereals, grits, canned meat, tuna, chicken, spam, ham,
canned fruit, vegetables, spaghetti, macaroni, peanut butter, soap - dish,
bar, laundry, and diapers.
- Volunteer at the Turnover Shop. We have an urgent need for volunteers to work in the shop. Parishioners of all ages are encouraged to volunteer. Short three hour
shifts are available daily Tuesday through Saturday, either for mornings 10:00 am to 1:00 pm or afternoons 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you are available once a week, once every other week or only once a month, your
support would be appreciated. Money raised at the Turnover Shop is used to help meet the needs of the community
and the wider mission of the church. The shop is located at 10 NE 5 Ave, Delray Beach. 561 276 2073.
- Spring/Summer Cleaning? Offer those items that you might be ready to part with to the Turnover Shop.
Clothing, household items, and 'what-nots' will be sold. The proceeds with benefit the community.
All money raised supports outreach in our community and to support the mission and ministries of the Church.
Each person has God-given gifts and talents to share.
Please consider participating in one of the many
servant-ministries of St. Paul's listed in this section of
our web site. What is God calling you to do? If
