Music at St Paul's... Coming Attractions

AUGUST 17, 2008 AT 4:00 PM - The festival twentieth season of Music at St Paul's will close with our August 17 concert.  The Camerata del Re will again perform baroque music on original instruments.

The program will feature music by women composers.  While society limited the opportunities for women to get their music performed, it could not suppress the artistic impulses of these amazing composers.

We will perform works by Francesca Caccini and Wilhelmine von Bayreuth, both of whom were overshadowed by famous relatives (Bayreuth was the sister of Frederick the Great) and hear the works of Elizabeth Jacquet de la Guerre and Isabella Leonarda.

NEW SEASON KICKS OFF SEPTEMBER 21: DATES FOR YOUR DIARY  The new season of our concert series has taken shape with a wide variety of musical offerings.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 21, 2008  Join us for a stellar concert of Mozart and Brahms by the FIU faculty chamber ensemble.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 19, 2008  Klezmer East

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 16, 2008  An all Vivaldi program
